A method is presented to investigate diffraction of an electromagnetic planewave by an infinitely thin infinitely conducting circular cylinder withlongitudinal slots. It is based on the use of the combined boundary conditionsmethod that consists on expressing the continuity of the tangential componentsof both the electric and the magnetic fields in a single equation. This methodproves to be very efficient for this kind of problems and leads to fastnumerical codes.
